Who is a patriot?

One who loves and supports his or her country is known as a patriot.

What is Patriotism?

It is love of one’s country, identification with it, and special concern for its well being and that of
compatriots.

A sneak to history of Pakistan:

Pakistan became independent on 14 August,1947.
When Pakistan became independent so many people sacrificed. This is a country people shedded
blood for.
This is the country for which Mothers strangled their milk-drinking babies.
Thus, Pakistan was achieved after suffering a lot of persecution.

Pakistani people and corruption:

I am sad to say that today when Pakistan is mentioned among others the first name that comes to mind is corruption.

Pakistani people are blaming their government for corruption. They blame the politicians. Maybe somehow it’s true. But what about them? Themselves? Have they ever thought about them being corrupted civilians?

Yeah, why will they? Reality is always a slap to faces.

You must be thinking that how are we even corrupted? We don’t eat anyone’s property or we don’t kill anyone’s money. You know, I will tell you a bitter truth today.

A man’s brother had a funeral. He wasn’t  worried about his dead brother as his eyes were on those ATM cards his brother had. He took all the money and sat like a snake on his late brother’s wealth leaving his children to lead a poor life. Here we are talking about the rich ones.

Let’s talk about a vegetable seller.

Go and buy some vegetables from a greengrocer. If you let him choose the vegetables, he would provide you rotten ones and when you get back home you will abuse him. This is all corruption. Corruption is not only done with money. It has various types.

Change yourself for Pakistan:

Allah doesn’t change the condition of those Who do not change themselves.

As the nation is l, so are the rulers.

Let’s not waste the precious blood shed for this land. Let’s all improve ourselves to be a better civilian and a better person.We have to groom ourselves for grooming  this country,
