The story is about how ‘Pakistan will be’ to ‘Pakistan it is”. The history of a nation has been written with the sacrifices, fear, and tough times they had been through and this nation is the same with it.
The History:
After the freedom in 1857, Muslims were struggling to build their selves up from the depth and humility they were being served with. They were politically unaware and unhinged along with being pushed into the lower classes in the society. During this time the QAID raised his voice and the poet got along to uproar the nation, to reprise the spirit of freedom, and finally, they achieved it on 14 th of August 1940, with their almost struggles and the law being the Quran and shariah.
The Current Situation :
We are celebrating the 74 th independence day, yet we can’t face ourselves in the mirror. The eagle who swore to fly high is lying in the clubs and bars with trash cans of alcohol, cigarettes, and drugs, the nation has now been divided into sects of Balochi, Sindhi, etc. We need to change our attitude to positivity, though we have seen many accidents and atrocities being done here, yet the hope still remains, we need ourselves together and change the perspective of the society along with politics. This is not some thing we got as a gift, this is something we have fought for and this is our chance to stand , fight and rise.
Review:
The writing style was fabulous and the way she portrayed the struggles of Muslims in 1947 and all the dark and corrupted habits inculcated in the population today, the reason we are enslaved. Point to be noted, slavery doesn’t come from doing chores or from being treated as a slave, it’s the west influence in our lives that has provoked the concept of enslavement in our minds.
How is the youth living?
The youngsters on whose shoulders a nation is built, are unaware of their aim and are indulged in every act that is harmful to us. Do not get yourself in these and came out victorious to make your nation proud and if it demands your blood to be shed then you should be willing to do it.
May the Almighty have mercy upon the writer and protect our nation.
